ONE Conference 2015

One of the session by Ron Luce- a captured heart. And he asked if our heart has been captured by Jesus today. And he reminded us that when we step out of the conference, there'll be thousand and one thing in this world that will try to capture our heart and attention, which is like the "dream killer" in session 6 of the conference, media, computer, TV and probably other things that will catch your attention.
Actually this point reminded me of the "Crazy love" session we had before the conference, the one that Francis Chen say something like "I sure wouldn't want to be here, because I don't want Jesus to come back now and see me watching drama here".
And Ron Luce said one thing which is "the world has an agenda to shape people."
No wonder in Romans 12:2 the bible says "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will"

Just Another Sushi Post

The Sushi Bar
14 Scotts Road ,Far East Plaza #04-28

Haven't had the chance to try out The Sushi Bar since it opened cos there's always a lonnnngggg queue whenever I passby the shop. Decided to give it a try yesterday cos the queue wasn't that long plus Chao and I had nothing to do while waiting for Best thus we decide to queue.
I don't think I'll ever go back again. Not that the queuing time is long (we queue for about 20 mins only), but the food wasn't that fantastic for us to go back. The California roll wasn't "wrapped/rolled" properly that the rice starts to "fall off" while using the chopstick to take the sushi. And the worst part is, we left with 3 piece of California roll so we each took one, and that very last piece I took, the salmon came with the fish scale.
Called the staff over, they ask if we wanted another roll but we were too full for another one so we rejected; they offered us dessert but we didn't want also. When we went to pay at the counter, the cashier ask us (yea the staff ask us) what's the verdict. So we say nothing. So, they didn't give us any discount and there wasn't exactly any service recovery done:(
